Creating field security allocations

Field security allocations apply to field level widgets.

To create an allocation on a field security structure:

Open the Security allocation node and the Fields subnode.
Specify the appropriate combination of user or group, and login company.
Click Refresh, as shown:



Select the target field in the left browse and click the button.
Select the field in the right browse.
Choose the security level.

For each structure, there are three possible values for the Access Level:

Full Access — No restriction is applied.
Read Only — The field is disabled for update.
Hidden — The field and its label are hidden from the user or company.
Click Save.

When a nonrestricted user views the Login company node and selects a record, all the fields are enabled.

Suppose user Anthony is restricted from viewing the Login Company Name field. When Anthony views the same frame, the Login Company Name field is hidden from view.
